April On The Plot


April can be a funny month with weather being changeable. Keep a close eye on young plants and be ready with protective fleece should the temperature suddenly drop.

Now is the time to get on top of those pesky weeds and dig over your beds ready for the summer sowing to begin. April also sees pests such as aphids starting to emerge so best to keep an eye out, especially on fruit bushes.
